I have so much I want to share with you about my first children’s theatre show, “Alice in Wonderland”, how it went this weekend, pictures of the set, the finished pieces that are WIP no more, etc. BUT that is going to take more than a quick bloggy minute, which is all I have today, so I will share another exciting bit of news instead 🙂
My shop had it’s first sale across the pond yesterday! What a fun thought it is, to think of some lovely person in Great Britain, wearing one of my pieces! It makes me rather happy to ponder it.
Now, I always take great pride in beautifully wrapping each item that sells from my shop. I want you to feel like you are opening a present when it arrives. But this wrap job required a little something special, something to make it more British-y, ya know? So instead of my usual ribbon, or criss-crossy yarn, I used Baker’s twine, little fabric triangles, and a paper “Thank You” Tag to make a pretty little pennant across the front.
I really like how it turned out, there’s something summery, and festive, and “boat-y” about it, don’t you think? 🙂
How about you? Do you have a favorite way to decorate packages and presents?
