Hello Darlings! As promised, I have another cute crochet hat for you, hooray!
Like many people, I have fond memories from childhood of playing what are now considered retro video games. I can remember playing “Outlaw” on our Atari, then “Super Mario Brothers” on our original NES (Nintendo), and “Tetris” on a word processor that only had one color: orange.
Now don’t get me wrong; I LOVE my XBOX 360 😉 I just happen to have a soft spot in my heart for all those games and gaming systems that paved the way for modern video games and systems.
SO! In honor of all those oldie-but-goodies, I present (*small drum roll*)……
Voila! INKY the Pac-man Ghost Hat!
Isn’t he just too cute? Can’t you just hear the little “waka-waka” noise Pac-man makes when he’s eating up all those dotty-things (what were those things, anyway…)? Anyhoo, let’s have another look at Mr. Inky, from the side this time…
Ah! So cute! I really like the way this little hat turned out. Just like my Pumpkin Baby Hat, I made the pattern up based off the way I imagined it. And of course, I also looked at images from the original Pac-man game for inspiration.
In the game, there are four different ghosts: Inky (blue), Blinky (red), Pinky (pink [no kidding, haha!]), and Clyde (orange). I may have already started work on on a red one; they are just fun so to make! I doubt that my Crafter’s ADD will allow me to make all four of them without trying some other type of hat first, though.
I think a cute, little ghosty hat is a pretty swell way to end Halloween weekend, wouldn’t you say? Have a wonderful start to your week, Loveys!
Talk to you soon!
